Instead of maximizing efficiency like a CDN (whether the likes of Limelight or Akamai), these are more on the reliability of how your site isn&#039;t dependent on a single server that is at risk of going down at any time, and instead shared across many servers making the likelihood of your server going south very unlikely.</description>
